Mr & Mrs Forsyth - Aberdeen
THE BRIEF
When Mr & Mrs Forsyth reached out to Kitchens International they sought to maximise space in their old Aberdeen townhouse kitchen with a bright, yet warm colour palette. They were keen to create clutter free, functional and spacious breakfast area that would allow multiple people to use the space at the same time. The long yet narrow room made this a challenging project for designers.
THE DESIGN CONCEPT
Inspired by Scandinavian timbers and simple clean lines, we utilised Leicht open shelving and Bossa doors in ridged Alpine Oak and gloss Frosty White, paired with White Arabesque Silestone worktops to create a space that is elegant, warm and reflects natural light coming through the large sliding glass doors to the garden.
The existing utility room was removed in order to create more space to work with. Whilst initially reluctant to do so, Mr & Mrs Forsyth saw the potential once shown the designs.
